The Landing Produce
The cucamelon is ready to harvest and has been a big favourite amongst the chefs today. Originating from Mexico, grown on the roof of a car park in Stockport. Due to the residual heat on the carpark, The Landing tends to be 6 degrees hotter than the rest of stockport which allows us to grow non indigenous produce in our space. We also have some fig trees up there which are about 2 years old and have finally given us their first fruits. With a very small harvest so far, we might not see figs on the menu just yet, but it is a nice insight into what we will be able to share in the future.
