Ikebana Workshop

We have our first workshop with Ikebana master Junko Popham this Sunday and we are thrilled to welcome her into our space to teach us the joy of Japanese flower arrangement using local produce . We visited Junko at her allotment in Buile Hill park, Salford. Growing Togetherness CIC is a fantastic community project founded by Mark Frith. An abundant space in the heart of Salford, Mark has done amazing work for the community that has really helped the local residents through lockdown, highlighting the importance of making urban growing spaces accessible. Junko gave us a tour of the gardens and their very fruitful orchard, and found time to create some“ Salford Ikebana” 

We are really looking forward to this workshop that has now sold out, and to hosting more in the future.
