THE MADNESS

Here is how we are dealing with the madness…

We will be closing the restaurant until further notice. We don’t want to be a part of spreading the virus but we will still be a part of spreading good food and good vibes. 

Where the Light Gets in will operate as the Pickle Factory. We are now a production house supplying our community with healthy and delicious organic food that will nourish the body and bring excitement to your quarantined selves. 

Fermented food has incredible benefits to your immune system, gives vital vitamins and macro nutrients to your body and will keep preserved for those lockdown times if you follow our guidelines. 

For now we will provide a takeaway service that will allow people to pick up a meal for between 1 and 6 people with instructions on how to reheat and keep the preserves preserved. We will also offer wine by the bottle. 

All dietaries will be catered for including vegans.

If people cannot get out to collect we will arrange a delivery service or organise pick up points in designated neighbourhoods.

We will continue to build the garden and grow as much as we can to provide ourselves and our community with fresh plant based produce. This also keeps our team in exercise and busies our wondering minds.

In the future weeks we will invite those that have lost jobs in the industry to join us I the kitchen to build a community production. The more healthy food we can get out to people the better. The more people we can sustain the better. 

Financially we are changing our operation. Any costs needed to keep the building afloat will come first, we will then pay our suppliers upfront. After that any money made will be shared out amongst the team equally. 

We are committed to staying busy, to being part of our community the best way we know how and to sustaining a future for ourselves and those surrounding us.

We have always been committed to a better way of living through sharing, nurturing and allowing a more natural state to dictate. We now face our biggest test in this arena and we are eager to put our beliefs, knowledge and resource to the test.
