BEAK DINERS: WTGLI
We’re pairing up with the fantastic Beak brewery, as part of their Beak Diners Club series.
Join us on Wednesday the 20th of November for an evening of responsive, seasonal, mouth-watering food paired with a range of fresh and limited edition Beak releases.
We’re big fans of Beak, who began life as a nomadic project run by food and drink writer Daniel Tapper, who spent several years honing his recipes with friends at some of the UK’s greatest breweries. The project has since laid roots in the East Sussex town of Lewes. Though best known for its hop-forward IPAs, the brewery also makes a wide range of beers from crisp and clear pilsners to decadent imperial stouts, which will all be showcased throughout the evening!
The WTLGI team will be joined by Beak’s Mark Cotterell (former Head Brewer of Cloudwater ).
We can’t wait.
Tickets are £150, which includes our tasting menu and 6 @beakbrewery beer pairings.

Line-up
Choos - 8% DIPA - This Southern Hemisphere DIPA was brewed with a medley of Australian hop varieties, including Enigma, Ella, Vic Secret and Galaxy. Cloudy, juicy and ripe with flavours of peach, gooseberry, Sauvignon Blanc and honeydew melon.
Coco - 11% Imperial Stout - This Imperial Stout was brewed with Finback as part of Beak’s Eastern Standard Time (EST) series, celebrating iconic East Coast breweries. Rich, unctuous and velvety smooth with flavours of bourbon, molten chocolate brownies, filter coffee and fresh tobacco.
Hum - 4.8% Pale - We brewed this pale ale with silly amounts of Idaho 7, Motueka and Cashmere hops along with an experimental yeast strain known for creating beers with voluptuous body and ripe tropical fruit flavours. WDYT? We dig it…
Olia - 6% Pastry Sour - Produced in collaboration with Latvia’s Ārpus Brewing Co, this super opulent fruited sour is saturated in raspberry, cherry, blackcurrant, vanilla and almond. We’re getting sherbet dippers, Bakewell tart, panna cotta and berry crumble. How about you? X
Umple - 6.5% IPA - A hazy bright yellow India Pale Ale brewed with Citra, Cascade and one of our all-time favourite hops: Anchovy. This one-of-a kind variety was given its, frankly, sensational name by Fast Fashion in Seattle, who were the first brewery to sponsor an acreage at Segal Ranch in Washington State. Expect watermelon and lemon sherbet on the nose followed by flavours of raspberry, pine and orange marmalade.
Folds - 5.6% DDH Pale - A pillowy soft Double Dry Hopped Pale Ale brewed with Simcoe, Eclipse, Citra and HBC630. It’s all OJ, pine and Victorian sweet-shops on the nose followed by flavours of raspberry, peach and mandarin.
