Update from the Landing

We have recently begun a summer workshop with the people at Starting Point, a charity based in Stockport helping kids stay active and engaged over the summer holidays. Here we have some recycled plant pots made by the fantastic Plastic Shed collective who run programmes from the Merseyway Workshop, the children planted seeds and will be going up to the landing over the next month to nurture them and watch their development.

The polytunnel is almost bursting with tomatoes as we wait for them to turn that brilliant red, we have had our first crop that have made their way to the menu already, with the rest to follow. The green house which is home to our chillis have started to give us our first Jalapeños and Habaneros which will soon be ready for harvest.
