An Evening with Patrick Bouju and Justine Loiseau

Join us for a very special evening as we welcome Patrick Bouju and Justine Loiseau of Domaine La Bohème to Where The Light Gets In for a one-night-only dinner with paired wines.

Rooted in the volcanic soils of the Auvergne, Patrick and Justine craft low-intervention wines that are as expressive and unfiltered as the land and lives that shape them. Domaine La Bohème was founded in 2004 by Patrick, whose allergy to sulphites and deep respect for nature led him down the path of low-intervention winemaking. Alongside Justine, the pair now care for over 8 hectares of vines, including some rare pre-phylloxera plantings—survivors from a century past.

Their wines are alive with energy, made from a vibrant patchwork of grapes grown across the Auvergne and South Beaujolais. Since 2014, their négoce project has opened the cellar door even wider, sourcing grapes from likeminded growers across France and beyond. The result is a thrilling, ever-evolving catalogue of bottles that reflect both place and play.
