Save the date! On Tuesday, July 23rd, we're thrilled to have winemaker Federico Orsi joining us at The Landing for a summer barbecue.
Federico's biodynamic farm is located in the picturesque rolling hills just outside Bologna in Emilia-Romagna. It's a stunning place where life flourishes. In addition to grapes, Federico also cultivates vegetables and grains and raises a small herd of local Moro Romagnola pigs.
To mark his visit, we're throwing a BBQ on The Landing. Sam and the team at Where The Light Gets In will be firing up the BBQ, serving smoked pork bellies, ribs, and other cuts from a saddleback pig, alongside delightful mushroom dishes from Woodhouse mushrooms. We'll also have crunchy pickles from the WTLGI stores for a tangy touch, as well as crisp salads freshly picked from the landing on the day.
Federico will be pouring his wines, along with some seasonal favourites from the Tutto cellar, available in both large and small bottles. The festivities kick off at 3 pm with food, wine, and music. No reservations needed – everyone is welcome, so feel free to drop by for a delicious meal and a glass or two of wine.
