Food Tastes Good

Over the past two weeks, we have run a series of workshops at Altogether Otherwise as part of an introduction to our Play In The City. 

We were generously invited to host the Food Tastes Good club, where we split people into groups of 5 and sent them out into the wide city with a clutch of five-pound notes. ‘What can you gather in 45 mins?’.

We kept a few groups back and took them to the Altogether Otherwise garden where we ransacked the last of the summer plants. Edibles, aromatics and medicinals were all collected.

Every day when we eat it is a response to our environment. 

Being in the city is no different, it’s just that now some of our food comes in packets and is flown in from overseas.
